      Our Work:  Harter House Meats

The Harter House Meats Project came to fruition in August of last year. Our goal was to create an e-commerce solution for a very popular and successful Grocery Store Chain, Harter House, located in Southern Missouri. With the slogan, "Famous For Our Meats," the team at Lime understood that although the store was famous for their meat, it was Harter House's customer service and attention to quality that made the stores more successful than their competitors.

      Tuneage

Like a hipster on a 3 shot espresso high, earbuds in, worshipping over his MacBook Pro in his favorite ironically-named coffee shop, I am in one of those moods to start sharing random music I have recently discovered. However, unlike a beany-wearing 20-something with an affinity towards jackets in 100+ degree weather, I will not make you feel stupid for never hearing of these artists. These are all artists that I have discovered while sitting at work with my headphones on, listening to Pandora, Rdio, Spotify or some internet radio site to obscure to mention, and I have one of those, “what is that?”, kind of moments.

      Social Media, Honesty and Transparency

Transparency has become one of those buzzwords that has been both over-used by experts and not truly understood by most. In the world of social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), it has become far too common to shout the importance of transparency, while still keeping information guarded from the public. This became painfully aware to us in a recent episode with one of our clients. Wanting to be a part of a revolution but not wanting to really play by its rules is neither recommended, nor does it work in a organizations best interests. As a marketing firm, we can scream at the top of our lungs how important it is to stay honest and respond to questions from the public, but if the social media outlet is not fully treated with respect, it can quickly devolve into a marketing fiasco.

3 Reasons The New Spiderman Will Be Terrible

In 2000, Sony Pictures hired Sam Raimi to direct the film "Spiderman" which would turn into one of the highest grossing trilogies of all time. Although they stumbled, most likely due to studio pressure to add Venom, on Spiderman 3, Spiderman and, even more, its sequel, are considered high-points of the superhero genre. Sam Raimi is a gifted director who has proven himself, time and again, to be highly talented, from the Evil Dead trilogy, Darkman, A Simple Plan (his first drama), The Gift and Drag Me To Hell. His next two projects, Oz: The Great and Powerful and World of Warcraft, are two of the highest anticipated films in the next several years.

3 Reasons to Stay Positive on Facebook

It's much easier to say something negative than it is to say something positive, but the benefits of staying positive on Facebook can be far reaching and have a much greater impact than can be imagined. Negativity breeds more negativity. Communication slowly deteriorates into a quagmire of vicious and cruel opinion, each subsequent post folding deeper into a hateful abyss. Social Media often gives us a feeling of empowerment and false courage, allowing us to say things we normally would not face to face. Worse yet, opinions on often "taboo" topics are often given freely without regard to whom we might offend. Why not? What harm can it do? There are many reasons why:
